Bianco Macerato | Motisi is a IGP TERRE SICILIANE wine produced on sandy loam soil in the Motisi area of Petrosino, which gives it a straw yellow color and a floral and fruity aroma with hints of citrus, flowers, and smoke.
The grapes are harvested by hand, placed in crates, refrigerated, and then taken intact to the cellar. The next day, the grapes are destemmed and placed in steel tanks, where fermentation with maceration takes place. Aging, for a period of 3 months, takes place for two-thirds in the same fermentation tanks together with the skins and for one-third in small Etna chestnut barrels. Subsequently, soft pressing is carried out and the two masses are blended.
The result is a wine that is perfect for meditation, but which can also be paired excellently with soups and grilled fish.
